Vernon Wheaton Prindle was my Great Grandfather. He was born in Melrose, Monroe County, Iowa. He married Nora Ethel Stevens (13 Mar 1881-1 May 1977) on 31 Mar 1899 at the home of his Great Uncle Edwin Brown in Carey, Ohio. Nora was the daughter of Warren Stevens (10 Jul 1848-Apr 1940) and Mary Shellhouse (30 Jul 1853-15 Feb 1931). Vernon & Nora resided in Republic, Seneca County, Ohio for several years.
